ITES stands for Information Technology Enabled Services – being a specific form of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) which has emerged from the involvement of IT (Information Technology) in various fields such as banking and finance, telecom, insurance, etc. Some well recognised examples of ITES are in call centres, back-office accounting, credit card processing and many more.
Typically firms usually from developed countries outsource such services to countries like India, China and Philippines in order to gain from large talent pool and low labour cost.
However in the context of providing support to our clients we seek to use ITES to enhance an image of our client operating from the UK. Accordingly we are active only in a narrow range of supporting services that meets this objective. Thus we are only seen to be operating from the UK.
